There's something about this time of year, when the evenings get lighter and the sun begins to shine a bit more. It always makes me feel hopeful and motivated.
I don't often do a huge spring clean all in one go, but I try and regularly set small tasks that often get forgotten about so I don't get too overwhelmed.
We have a wide range of eco friendly cleaning products in store to clean everywhere at home - from your floor to your toilet! But I actually really love just using white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. These can be used in a huge variety of ways, both combined and separately, but here are some of my best uses that I use at home all the time.
Using a combination of white vinegar and bicarb helps unblock drains without harming the environment and aquatic life.
Bicarb is a natural deodoriser, I often sprinkle it over the rug and carpets at home to get rid of any doggy smells from Clara. I also occasionally sprinkle over the mattress to freshen it up.
Spray white vinegar on your shower doors to help get rid of those streaks that get left behind. This one honestly gives amazing results! My boyfriend and I were surprised with how it tuned out.
White vinegar is also brilliant at removing stains (something that comes in handy when you have a dog!), I've used it to remove any wine spillages from the sofa too!
These are just some ideas of how to use white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, but there are so many other uses for them - a quick google or Ecosia search will bring up plenty of ideas.
They also work out a lot cheaper than other cleaning products, whats not to love!
